Dr. LAO earned his PhD degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University College London in the U. K. And his bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, he has over 20 years of research, technical and business experience working as a technical and management consultant for multinational companies such as Siemens, ABB, Yaskawa, GE, Emerson, etc. In the automation and technology sectors. CTO senior engineer Mr. SHEN has nearly 40 years of working experience as the chief engineer leading various teams in the field of automation and mechanical power transmission. Mr. SHEN used to be the CEO and Chief Engineer for a large scale state-owned automation equipment manufacturer in Shanghai for nearly 20 years. He has accomplished numerous high profile projects in his previous tenures including Shanghai Metro power distribution system and Shanghai Expo Stadium stage equipment system.
All Langham products are branded under the registered name NoviTrans® Which originates from two Latin words "novitas transmissio" with the implication of "innovative transmission" technologies. With exclusively patented technologies, Langham successfully developed a whole new breed of integrated intelligent motors with precision production techniques and significantly enhanced the traditional motors with great value added. NoviTrans® Motors / NoviMotors® Have some critical state of the art built-in technical features which revolutionise the traditional application of industrial motors. All equipments/circuits on the secondary control loop are saved (not required any more) with the application of NoviMotors® Which could significantly cut the overall costs for end-users and greatly enhance the efficiency of installation, operation and maintenance of the power/dynamic systems.

Langham has developed three categories of AC permanent magnet synchronous motors:
YFM series (Flexible Motors): Langham's basic motor model in which advanced power transmission technology is applied so that the output mechanical power of the motor can be flexible / soft in its nature. Having the same physical dimensions and the mounting of other general purpose industrial motors, the YFM motor series have the advantage of saving all equipments and circuits on secondary control loop hence the significant overall cost savings and the great efficiency improvement of installation, operation and maintenance of the motor system for end-users.
YVF series (Integrated Servo Motors): Langham's advanced motor model in which servo drive and servo control units are all integrated with the servo motor. YVF motor series feature miniaturization design and compact structure and have the flexible mechanical power transmission nature.
YVM series (Mag-control Servo Motors): Langham's most advanced motor model in which advanced proactive power transmission technology is applied by adjusting the intensity of the magnetic field. Besides flexible power transmission and integrated servo motor in nature, the most important technical feature of YVM motor series is their capability to adjust the output of low-precision decelerator to premium precision in real time hence the significant cost savings for advanced gear decelerators
